"Measuring Near-Infrared Light Sources for Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS)"
Matt Scholz, Automotive Business Leader - Radiant Vision Systems

To function appropriately, the majority of driver monitoring systems (DMS) rely on the performance of near-infrared (NIR) light sources such as LEDs and lasers that produce the signal to sense driver gaze, position, and behavior. Join a presentation as we explore NIR sources used in DMS, benefits and applications of NIR LEDs and lasers, key qualities including light source distribution area and intensity, and measurement equipment used to test light source performance.
