Radiant Vision Systems Introduces INSPECT™ Software Toolkit for Advanced Machine Vision Applications
REDMOND, Wash. – July 10, 2020 — Radiant Vision Systems, a leading provider of automated visual inspection solutions for electronic components and displays, announces the release of a new software toolkit for advanced machine vision inspection tasks, INSPECT™ Software.
Used with a ProMetric® Y-Series imaging system, the user-configurable INSPECT Software can be applied to detect subtle, low-contrast cosmetic defects on surfaces, and perform finish uniformity evaluation to assess cosmetic quality. Makers of high-value products and components seek to meet customer expectations of product appearance and assembly. This level of manufacturing control requires quality inspection that reflects human visual perception and discernment, but with greater consistency and objectivity.
